Marty Weaver spent his childhood in Dunn, Benson, and Erwin where he landed his first jobs working on neighboring farms and at the Erwin Cotton Mill. He settled into Coats as an adult. This is where his journey into the construction industry began as he took a job helping a family member build houses.

In 1991 Marty established the first phase of his flooring business where he alone began to sand and refinish hardwood floors. Over the years as he perfected his craft, he also began to establish long term relationships with some of the most well known flooring vendors in the country. These include Horizon Forest Products, Shaw Industries, Mannington, and Mohawk.

In 2011 Marty's vision changed when a vendor informed him that product could not be sold to him without a showroom.Marty promptly converted an outbuilding on his property to a showroom. The new space allowed him to expand his client offering to include sales and installation of Luxury Vinyl Plank, Luxury Vinyl Tile, Carpet, Laminate, Ceramic Tile, and Cabinetry along with his existing Hardwood services..

The original showroom was located on Hardwood Lane in Coats, but in 2020 was relocated to Coates Village Square when the former Hopes True Value Hardware space became available.

Marty is active in the community and is a member of the Coats Chamber of Commerce. In addition he supports and contributes to numerous local causes. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, restoring older vehicles, and fishing at the beach.

Cherie Bullion grew up in Northern Virginia, She entered the tile business in 2003 when she accepted a position at Best Tile Distributors of Virginia as an assistant to the regional manager. It was there that she learned the ins and outs of a flooring distribution company while assisting in all areas of the business. She learned the functionality of the showroom to the warehouse and everything in between.

In 2010 Cherie along with her husband and two children made the move to Erwin, North Carolina. She transferred within the Best Tile group to the Raleigh location. Here she continued expanding her knowledge of the business by working in various positions including contractor, wholesale, and commercial sales. It is also here that she discovered her passion for design while working in design consult services.

Inspired by this discovery and a love for learning Cherie enrolled at The Art Institute to pursue a degree in Interior Design while juggling her family and a full time job. She completed family in 2013 when she and her husband welcomed their third child.

Cherie teamed up with Marty, her long time client in the Spring of 2022 to manage showroom operations and to offer a unique design experience to their clients.

Cherie takes pride in educating her clients on products while seeing each project through from start to finish. She brings her passion for design into every project. She also takes the time with each individual to understand their vision and uses her knowledge and design skills to make these visions come to life.

In her spare time Cherie enjoys crocheting, crafting, and creating various forms of art. She is also an avid reader and loves to spend time with her two grandchildren.
